About Joe

Joe Carlini is an Upper Midwest Emmy Award Winning Director/ Writer from Minnesota. Joe has been nominated twice for an Upper Midwest Emmy, winning once for his film “Second Chance U.” His work has been featured on Fox, NBC, CBS, WGN, Tru Magazine, Star Tribune, Omaha World Herald, Pioneer Press, IBN Network, and many more. In college, Joe earned two film degrees, during which he was nominated 8 times for an Upper Midwest Student Emmy, winning 3 of them. He won a Student Emmy in 2011 for his film “Final Moments” and won two additional Emmy’s in 2012 for a music video “Crow” and a documentary “The Ending.”

Joe has made over 30 short films.  In 2011, Joe won Best Picture at a 48 hours film festival in Wisconsin. Then in 2012, Joe entered the Suburban Community Channels Hall of Fame. His feature film, “My Senior Year” has received rave reviews from audience members and has been screened around the country including the biggest mall in the country, Mall Of America.  The film holds a 7.5 rating on IMDB. Joe has owned his professional film company Carlini Entertainment since 2009, delivering high quality videos for an affordable rate.
